Basketball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland was the 49-43 winner over New Philadelphia when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Ashland Arrows and the New Philadelphia Quakers didn't end well, with the Ashland Arrows falling 63-49.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for New Philadelphia, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ashland will host West Holmes at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for New Philadelphia, they will square off against Northwest at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. New Philadelphia is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
