Basketball Recap: Crystal Lake Central Comes Up Short

Crystal Lake Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dundee-Crown Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-41 back in January.

Crystal Lake Central's record now sits at 6-24. As for Dundee-Crown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Crystal Lake Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-45 defeat against Jacobs on the 20th. As for Dundee-Crown, they will face off against Prairie Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
