Canajoharie piles up the points against Salem

Recap: Canajoharie Cougars vs. Salem Generals
The Canajoharie Cougars had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed by Salem on the road to the tune of 58-29.
Salem's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Blaise Barrett, who scored 8 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. Josh Harrington was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Canajoharie's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canajoharie will take on Fort Plain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Fort Plain focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. As for Salem, they will be playing at home against Argyle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
