Soccer Preview: Oakcrest Hunts for Offense After a Cold Stretch

After two games on the road, Oakcrest is heading back home. They will challenge the Cape May County Tech Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oakcrest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Oakcrest turned things around against Holy Spirit on Monday. They and the Spartans finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Oakcrest's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Cape May County Tech played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Gloucester City.

With that draw, Oakcrest's record moves to 2-13-1. Meanwhile, Cape May County Tech's record is now 3-14-1.
