Volleyball Recap: Nitro Find Success

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Nitro walked away with a 2-0 win over Hannan.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Nitro was: they took both sets by at least 20 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-5.

Nitro found their leader in sophomore Miley Mullins, who had six aces and four digs. Another player making a difference was Skylar Swindler, who had four aces.

Nitro was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The victory got Nitro back to even at 12-12. As for Hannan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Nitro will venture away from home to square off against Poca at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hannan, they will welcome Wood County Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Wildcat at the right time seeing as the Wildcat are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
