Soccer Recap: Del Lago Academy Comes Up Short

Del Lago Academy lost to Bishop on January 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Firebirds fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. Del Lago Academy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Del Lago Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-2. As for Bishop's, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Del Lago Academy will head out to challenge Guajome Park Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop's, they will take on Santa Fe Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
