Baseball Game Preview: Wooster Colts vs. Sparks Railroaders

For the second straight game, Wooster will face off against Sparks. The Colts will be playing at home against the Railroaders at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Last Thursday, Wooster was able to grind out a solid victory over Sparks, taking the game 7-2. The win continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Railroaders: they've now won five in a row.

For Sparks' part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxin Burley, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Joesel Alvarez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Sparks is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16. As for Wooster, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.
