Softball Recap: South Lenoir Sets Scoring Season-High Against Southwest Onslow

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Lenoir). They never let the Southwest Onslow Stallions get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Stallions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Southwest Onslow, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Lenoir is set to face off against their familiar foe Kinston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in South Lenoir's favor as the squad sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Kinston has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Southwest Onslow will take on rival Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
