Basketball Recap: Wagner Triumphs

Wagner's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Parkston Trojans out 57-55. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Wagner's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Parkston, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-1 record.

When Wagner and Parkston next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Wagner will try to stop O'Neill's three-game winning streak when the meet on Tuesday. Similarly, Parkston will face off against Lyman and their six-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
