Southwestern came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Randolph Cardinals, falling 6-1. Southwestern were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Randolph apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Southwestern has already played their next match (against Ellicottville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Randolph, they will take on Salamanca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
