Soccer Game Preview: McDowell vs. Girard + Official Tickets

The McDowell Trojans will face off against the Girard Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Girard will take on a team with plenty of momentum: McDowell extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. Everything went the Trojans' way against Erie as they made off with a 10-1 victory. McDowell might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Girard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Erie get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. That six goal margin sets a new team best for Girard this season.

Girard's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for McDowell, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

McDowell took their victory against Girard in their previous meeting last Wednesday by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
