Basketball Recap: Veritas Christian Academy Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Veritas Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Gateway Legacy Christian Academy Lions on Friday, falling 66-39.

Veritas Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Gateway Legacy Christian Academy, they will square off against Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
