Riverbend won the last time they faced North Stafford, and Mikenzi Via did her part to make sure it happened again. The Riverbend Bears put the hurt on the North Stafford Wolverines with a sharp 52-27 victory on Saturday thanks in part to Via, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Nyah Barnwell was another key player, putting up five points along with 12 rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Riverbend's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for North Stafford, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Looking ahead, Riverbend will host Massaponax at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Massaponax will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Riverbend surely won't give up without a fight. North Stafford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
