Basketball Recap: Timothy Christian Takes a Loss

Timothy Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 59-42 fall against the Wheaton Academy Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 51-39 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Timothy Christian still got an impressive performance from Marc Gamble, who went 8-for-19 en route to 26 points and seven boards. Gamble is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Adam Roland, who posted five points and eight rebounds.

Timothy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Wheaton Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
