Soccer Recap: Loudoun Valley Comes Up Short

Loudoun Valley entered their contest against Dominion on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Loudoun Valley came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Dominion are ranked 243rd).

Loudoun Valley suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-3-2. As for Dominion, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.
