Volleyball Recap: Las Lomas Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Las Lomas waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the College Park Falcons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 14th.

Las Lomas never let College Park on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-21.

Las Lomas' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tate Thompson led the charge by getting 40 assists and two blocks. Thompson has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 18 times he's played.

Las Lomas' win bumped their record up to 24-7. As for College Park, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 22-9.

As of now, neither Las Lomas nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
