They suffered a rough 13-3 loss at the hands of the Midland Valley Mustangs. South Aiken was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Midland Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Monday.
For Midland Valley's part, Nate Evans made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Evans was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
