Soccer Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-3 to the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Riverdale of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Warren County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will welcome Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Riverdale their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Warren County, they will head out to square off against Cumberland County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
