Baseball Recap: Water Canyon Comes Up Short

Water Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-2 to the Millard Eagles. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Water Canyon's record is now 0-7. As for Millard, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.

Looking ahead, Millard will square off against Judge Memorial Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Water Canyon will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles faces off against the Bulldogs, they'll take on Water Canyon again at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
