Shelby had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They really took it to the East Gaston Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-12 win. The Golden Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Shelby's record is now 15-7. As for East Gaston, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shelby will head out to face off against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Shelby surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Gaston, they will venture away from home to challenge Burns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
