Okawville waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Red Bud Musketeers. The game was the first time the Rockets have beaten the Musketeers on their court since September 6, 2022.

Jilien Harre paced Okawville's offense, picking up five kills. Harre got some help from Kenley Hackstadt and her ten assists. Finally, Jaycie Buss kept Okawville's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Okawville's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Red Bud, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 6-1.

Looking ahead, Okawville will head out on the road to challenge Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Bud, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Roxana at 7:00 p.m.
