Basketball Recap: Putnam's Win Ends 11-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Putnam won the last time they faced Plainfield and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Putnam Clippers managed a 60-56 victory over the Plainfield Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Clippers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Putnam to victory, but perhaps none more so than CAMDEN KELL, who went 8 of 18 en route to 19 points along with eight boards and three blocks. KELL is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was NICHOLAS DEVLIN, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Putnam's win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Plainfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Montville the next time they take the court. Putnam will head out to face Montville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Plainfield will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
