After flying high against the Allatoona Buccaneers last Thursday, the Woodstock Wolverines came back down to earth. Woodstock took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rome on Saturday. Woodstock has not had much luck with Rome recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Woodstock saw an underclassman step up: Morghan Slater scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Slater has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Jacobs, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Woodstock's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Rome, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.

Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rome also has no future games currently scheduled.
