Vianney faced Parkway Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Golden Griffins walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Colts. The Golden Griffins haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Vianney's offense was headlined by Mitchell Jugo and Sam Dore, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Connor Johnson and his 25 assists. Jugo was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Vianney's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Parkway Central, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1.
