Soccer Recap: Martinsville Takes a Loss

Martinsville lost against George Washington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. Martinsville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Steven Morales, who's now up to four this season.

Martinsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for George Washington, the win got them back to even at 5-5-3.

Looking ahead, Martinsville will host Bassett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George Washington, they are taking a road trip to take on Halifax County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. George Washington are facing Halifax County at the right time seeing as Halifax County are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
