Softball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West and Ayala squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but West had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-0. Considering the last time the Warriors couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Ayala, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ayala, they will face off against Murrieta Mesa at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
