Football Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Beech Grove Hornets

The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins are taking a road trip to square off against the Beech Grove Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Tri-West Hendricks is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Indianapolis Bishop Chatard just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 42-13 defeat at the hands of the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Bruins couldn't push the score so high this time.

Although Tri-West Hendricks took the loss, they still got scores from Jax Garver and Cooper Zimmerman.

Meanwhile, Beech Grove was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 24-20 to Triton Central. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Beech Grove's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Tri-West Hendricks, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
