After having lost a blowout in their previous game against NCSSM: Morganton, Sugar Creek Charter was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus Lions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 23, 2024.

Sugar Creek Charter wouldn't go down easily and took The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-9, 25-17, 23-25, 15-7.
