After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Coweta, Chapel Hill was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Alexander Cougars as the Chapel Hill Panthers made off with a 9-3 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since August 20th.
Nyla Henson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jayda Young, who went 1-for-3 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
The victory snapped Chapel Hill's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-9 record. As for Alexander, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.
