Basketball Game Preview: Ridge Christian Academy Paladins vs. Baptist Hill Bobcats

The Ridge Christian Academy Paladins will take on the Baptist Hill Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ridge Christian Academy has given up an average of 70.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ridge Christian Academy lost 74-49 to Northwood Academy on Monday.

Despite the defeat, Ridge Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Benjamin Shamblin posted 21 points and eight boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shamblin has scored all season. JW Fowler was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Baptist Hill duked it out with North Charleston on Saturday. The Bobcats managed a 65-61 win over the Cougars. The game was the first time the Bobcats have beaten the Cougars on their court since December 29, 2022.

Baptist Hill has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 65.5 points this season. As for Ridge Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
