Soccer Recap: Durant Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Durant was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Edison Eagles by a score of 1-0. Durant were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Edison apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Durant's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Edison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Durant will challenge rival Bishop Kelley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Edison is set to square off against their familiar foe Shawnee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
