If Foster beats Strake Jesuit with two goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Foster had just enough and edged Alief Hastings out 2-1 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Strake Jesuit entered their tilt with Alief Hastings on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Bears onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Give the Fighting Crusaders' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Strake Jesuit pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Foster, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
