The victory made it two in a row for Valor Preparatory Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-10. As for Sugar Creek Charter, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Sugar Creek Charter was able to grind out a solid win over Valor Preparatory Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 78-71.
