Basketball Game Preview: Oshkosh North Spartans vs. Oshkosh West Wildcats

Oshkosh North is 0-10 against Oshkosh West since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Oshkosh North Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oshkosh West Wildcats at 7:30 p.m.

Oshkosh North is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Kaukauna just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against the Galloping Ghosts, falling 55-27. The loss was the Spartans' first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oshkosh West). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 65-26 win over Appleton West. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oshkosh North fell to 3-1. As for Oshkosh West, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Oshkosh North came up short against Oshkosh West when the teams last played back in January, falling 51-40. Can Oshkosh North avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
