Basketball Recap: Copley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Copley can now relate to. They took a hard 69-54 fall against the Lutheran West Longhorns on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th in Ohio, while the Longhorns are ranked 36th in Ohio).

Copley's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Lutheran West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Copley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lutheran West, they will face off against Nordonia at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Lutheran West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
