Football Game Preview: Skyline Eagles vs. Dexter Dreadnaughts + Official Tickets

The Skyline Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Dexter Dreadnaughts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Skyline hasn't scored more than 13 points for five games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Skyline is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Pioneer on Friday. The Eagles took a 23-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pioneers 13-7 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Dexter made easy work of Bedford on Friday and carried off a 38-13 victory. Considering the Dreadnaughts have won four contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dexter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Skyline was taken down by Dexter 63-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
