Soccer Recap: Miramonte Comes Up Short

Miramonte and University squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Miramonte had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Miramonte's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Miramonte's loss dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Miramonte nor University have any future games scheduled.
