Soccer Game Preview: Atlantic Collegiate Academy vs. Marion

The Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada will face off against the Marion Swamp Foxes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Atlantic Collegiate Academy made easy work of Andrews and carried off a 6-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, who have now won nine contests by five goals or more so far this season.

They hit Andrews with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Andrew Morgan (2), Cameron Lyons (2), Mason Kendig, and Wilder Sauls.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marion walked away with it. They skirted past the Cougars 4-3.

Marion's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Everything went Atlantic Collegiate Academy's way against Marion when the teams last played back in March, as Atlantic Collegiate Academy made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Armada have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Swamp Foxes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
