Ashlyn Pinzke leads Stover to victory over Pilot Grove

Recap: Stover Bulldogs vs. Pilot Grove Tigers
The Stover Bulldogs lost to the Pilot Grove Tigers back in December of 2022, but the Stover Bulldogs didn't allow the Pilot Grove Tigers the same satisfaction on Friday. Stover managed a 54-48 win over Pilot Grove. The win made it back-to-back wins for Stover.
Ashlyn Pinzke went supernova for Stover, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pinzke has scored at least 25% of Stover's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Bauer, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Stover's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pilot Grove, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Stover will be playing in front of their home fans against Russellville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pilot Grove's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Sacred Heart focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Tuesday.
