Basketball Recap: Davis Sr. Comes Up Short

Davis Sr. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 80-43 loss at the hands of the Folsom Bulldogs. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Davis Sr.'s defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ahmere Bradley, who went 6 of 7 en route to 12 points and six rebounds, and Nico Dunn, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Rhys Crawford, who put up five points and six rebounds.

Davis Sr.'s loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Folsom, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davis Sr. will square off against Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Davis Sr. is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season. As for Folsom, they will challenge Granite Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Folsom knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Granite Bay likes a good challenge.
