Basketball Game Preview: Crestview Rebels vs. Southeast Pirates

Crestview is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Southeast is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Crestview Rebels will welcome the Southeast Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Crestview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Southeast likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Crestview humbled Liberty with a 56-7 victory. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Southeast earned a 46-34 win over Ravenna on Saturday.

Crestview has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Southeast, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

Everything came up roses for Crestview against Southeast in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-13 win. In that contest, Crestview amassed a halftime lead of 51-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
