Meanwhile, Wheelersburg was able to grind out a solid win over Western on Tuesday, taking the game 75-64.

Wheelersburg's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Monroe Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
