Beecher put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Grant Park Dragons a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Bobcats have won 12 matchups by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Taylor Norkus's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Beecher let Elena Kvasnicka and Grace Wuest run wild. Kvasnicka went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Wuest went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Beecher's record is now 18-0. As for Grant Park, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Beecher beat the Dragons by a score of 14-0 later that day.
