Baseball Recap: Bristol Comes Up Short

If Bristol was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Valley Forge Military Academy on May 12th, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 8-1 to the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since March 22nd.

Bristol's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Bristol does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they will square off against Philadelphia Academy Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
