Softball Recap: Los Altos Find Success

Los Altos posted their closest win since March 17th on Friday. They skirted past the San Dimas Saints 4-2. The Conquerors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Kaylahni Duenas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Brianah Alejandre was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Maya Ruiz also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Los Altos and bumps their season record up to 13-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for San Dimas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9-1.

Coincidentally, Los Altos and San Dimas will both be playing Warren the next time they take the field. The Conquerors will head out to face the Bears at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Saints will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
