Alta-Aurelia is 8-1 against South Central Calhoun since June of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Titans at 5:30 p.m. Alta-Aurelia will be strutting in after a victory while South Central Calhoun will be coming in after a defeat.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Alta-Aurelia and Southeast Valley, and Alta-Aurelia kept the tradition alive. The Warriors walked away with a 5-1 win over the Jaguars on Friday. That four run margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Meanwhile, South Central Calhoun came up short against Emmetsburg on Friday, falling 13-2. The match marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for South Central Calhoun and nudges their season record down to 5-6. As for Alta-Aurelia, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Alta-Aurelia took their win against South Central Calhoun in their previous meeting back in June of 2024 by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
