It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South can now relate to. They were dealt a 62-28 loss at the hands of the Northwest Grizzlies on Friday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Despite the loss, South still got an impressive performance from Rashawn Johnson, who picked up 116 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 61 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Zahmere Jackson, who threw for 176 yards and a touchdown.

Northwest was led to victory by Augie Fast and Jaylen Mason. Fast rushed for 250 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.6 yards per carry, while Mason threw for 227 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes. Those 250 rushing yards gave Fast a new career-high. Ryder Campbell was in the mix as well, providing Northwest with two touchdowns.

South's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Northwest, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
