Softball Recap: D.H. Conley Wins High-Profile Game Against Cleveland

D.H. Conley faced Cleveland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Vikings beat the Rams by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-2. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won five in a row.

Madison Anderson looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Reagan Stocks, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Bradley, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
