River Falls hadn't done well against Hudson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Raiders. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Raiders on their field since June 17, 2021.

The victory made it two in a row for River Falls and bumps their season record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Hudson, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.
