Football Recap: Pleasant Hill/Western Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Pleasant Hill/Western, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 22-14 victory over Routt Catholic/Lutheran on Friday. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 54-0 win Routt Catholic/Lutheran walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2022.

Despite the loss, Routt Catholic/Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mikey Reed threw for 332 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 332 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Reed. 93 of Reed's passing yards were hauled in by Nolan Mossman.

Pleasant Hill/Western's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Routt Catholic/Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

As of now, neither Pleasant Hill/Western nor Routt Catholic/Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
